Hosted Stripe handoff

Purchase one-time release-line coverage.

Choose a Day Shift commercial license for the current release line. This website hands payment collection to hosted Stripe checkout and keeps normal CLI use local after installation.

Payment completion is confirmed server-side before license delivery. The public page does not collect card details or private purchaser records.

Support
Support scope and response expectations are agreed explicitly
  • Enterprise and procurement conversations start through support rather than the self-service hosted checkout handoff.
  • License files are signed JSON artifacts installed locally with the Day Shift CLI.
  • Checkout completion alone does not make the CLI depend on online activation.

Concrete entitlement example

Buy 0.1.x once; choose whether to upgrade to 0.2.x.

A release-line license is perpetual for the version it covers. It is not a subscription and it does not silently extend to a newer release line.

Purchase

Purchase Solo Commercial for Day Shift 0.1.x.

Included Release

The license covers 0.1.0 and every later 0.1.x patch release.

Perpetual Use

You may keep using the covered 0.1.x release line perpetually for the licensed commercial use.

Later Release

Day Shift 0.2.x is a newer release line and is not licensed by the 0.1.x entitlement.

Optional Upgrade

Upgrading is optional: remain on 0.1.x or verify the prior license to buy 0.2.x coverage at the 50% upgrade price.

Repository Ownership

Your repository artifacts remain yours whether or not you upgrade; Day Shift does not lock, remove, or claim them.

Verification

The signed license file is verified locally, so normal covered use does not require online activation.

Reminder Behavior

A valid covered license suppresses commercial reminders for 0.1.x; evaluation use or an uncovered 0.2.x install continues to show them.

Support

Self-service documentation remains available to everyone; paid plans include email help for purchase and license-delivery issues, while broader support is optional or separately agreed.

Upgrade policy

Release-line coverage

A paid license covers a signed release line, including patch updates inside that line.

Discounted upgrade path

Future major release lines use a 50% upgrade price when prior license evidence is available.

No online activation for normal use

The installed CLI verifies signed license files locally after installation.
